Retail and service counters
A returns desk, a click-and-collect point, a service counter at the back of the shop.
The problem
A counter inside a shop cannot have a queue that fills the aisle, and it cannot ask a customer to stand still for twenty minutes in a building designed to make them walk around.
What QueueFlow does about it
- Join from a QR code at the counter and carry on shopping. The code changes every few minutes, so it is worth nothing once it has been sent to somebody who is not in the shop.
- A status page on their own phone showing their place, and a message when the counter is nearly ready for them.
- One list per counter, whatever the shop calls it — desk, window, chair or room — so the words on the screen are the words the staff use.
A counter that serves the same number of people without a line in front of it.
