Vehicle services
Periodic inspection, registration, oil change and bodywork — four kinds of visit that take four very different amounts of time.
The problem
The customer waits with their car, or leaves and comes back, and either way the thing that annoys them is not the length of the wait but not knowing it. Meanwhile the bays that can do the work are not interchangeable, so a single average wait is wrong for everybody.
What QueueFlow does about it
- The wait is estimated from the bays that can actually take that job next, not from every bay on the site — so an inspection queue is not quoted the workshop's spare capacity.
- Their own status page, so somebody who left can see when it is worth coming back.
- Reports by service and by hour, which is what says whether the second inspection lane pays for itself.
