Bookings that survive contact with the waiting room
A booked customer arrives, is checked in, and takes their place in the same line as everybody else.
The problem
A diary and a queue kept separately disagree within a day. The customer with the ten o'clock booking is standing in front of somebody who has been waiting since half past nine, and nothing on the screen says who should go first.
What QueueFlow does about it
- Availability comes from the counters and people who actually do that work, and two people cannot take the same slot — that is prevented at the database and not in the form.
- Checking a booking in creates a place in the line, so from that moment there is one order and one screen.
- A public booking page, reschedule, cancel, and a link to their own booking that carries no ticket number to guess.
One order in the room, whether somebody booked or walked in.
